    basically an italian masterpiece

A little bit of a sear would go along way on those sausages 🙂

You walk in, they turn down the lights. Pour a glass of wine and tell you to get ready for a night of wonder.

You sit down at the table. They put down the plate. You look at it then them.

“Oh baby, you know how to treat a king”

Honestly it looks so pretty though??

The fresh basil is carrying a lot of weight here.

Add some water, garlic, and seasoning the ketchup and you could have transformed it into a simple pasta sauce

I mean, it looks fine, really. I’d eat it.

if the pasta was cooked over butter, I would say this is good.

You know what’s fucked up? As an Italian, to me this is less “offensive” than plain pasta with ketchup. I associate ketchup with the hotdogs which is yummy, and the pasta is just the background carb. Also somehow the basil makes it look a lot more classy and refined lol.

I love penne, I love basil, I love hot dogs and I love ketchup, but not like that.

Without the ketchup this would lowkey be a good struggle meal

The basil is the only thing remotely edible on that plate…
